Marco Facchin-Clerici, Ph.D.
ABOUT ME:
I'm an empirically informed (I hope!) philosopher of mind/cognitive science providing your daily dose of eliminativism

Currently, I'm a research fellow at Universiteit Antwerpen. My research is made possible thanks to the FWO (grant 1202824N) and its generous postdoctoral grants.

This is where I store all my papers, published, in-the-making, and abandoned. I try to keep all my works easily accessible, so you can download them, if you like.

My CV and Ph.D. dissertation are here too.

I am also a proud organizer of the annual webconferences of the International Society for the Philosophy of the Mind Sciences - next one coming in October.
You can see old keynote talks here

Always open to cooperation (drop me an email at marco.facchin.marco.facchin@gmail.com)
Current research project
Towards a globally non-representational view of the mind (FWO grant 1202824N)
I have joined the Centre for Philosophical Psychology at Universiteit Antwerpen.

My aim is to elaborate a completely non-representational theory of the mind, knitting together my love for extended theories of cognition and my hatred for inner mental representations.

More specifically, I aim to elaborate and defend a form of illusionism about representations - a view claiming that inner mental representations do not exist, they only seem to exist.
